I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but we're getting closer and closer to cold temps...although, it is still unseasonably warm today?!?! So, what better way to be in the fall mode than to make some Pumpkin Ice Cream. This isn't just any ice cream though, this is the perfect blend for your favorite fluffy friend! So, grab some pumpkin and make some dog friendly ice cream with me!
Supplies:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Pumpkin Puree
- 1 cup of Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 of a Banana
- Dash of Cinnamon
- Milk
- Zukes Mini Naturals
Directions:
- Add first 5 ingredients to Ninja container or freezer safe container if not using a Ninja Creami.
- Freeze for 24 hours.
- Add container to Ninja and spin.
- Add a splash of milk and re-spin
- Add to Ninja Creami dispenser and dispense into a bowl!
- Add Zukes Mini Natural Treats to the top!
- Share with your pup and enjoy!
Notes:
- When choosing your yogurt option make sure you avoid any with Xylitol as it is toxic to dogs!
- If you don't have the Ninja Creami as an option, I would recommend combining ingredients into a blender and blending until smooth. Then, freeze in a freezer safe container. You will need to scoop this, but I'm sure it will be just as delicious!
