When I saw peeps at my local Commissary,I decided to have some fun in the kitchen with my kids making these cute and easy OREO chicks and white chocolate covered PEEPS® bunnies.
What You Need:
- Golden OREOs
- White chocolate
- PEEPS®
- Sprinkles
- Parchment Paper
- Writing Food Gel
Initial Directions:
- First melt the white chocolate. (I put a glass bowl over a pot of boiling water and stirred until melted.)
Directions for the PEEPS®:
- Dip the bottom of the bunnies in the white chocolate.
- Dip into Sprinkles.
- Place on Parchment Paper to dry.
- Enjoy!
Directions for the OREO Chicks:
- Dip half of the OREO in the melted chocolate and set on Parchment Paper.
- Take an orange Sprinkle and dip into white chocolate and place in the middle for the nose then you can add dots of the Writing Food Gel for eyes!
- Enjoy!
This was such a fun and easy treat that the whole family can make, and if your family is anything like mine, they won't last long!!!
