Ingredients & Supplies:
- 1/2 Cup Plain Natural Yogurt
- 1/4 Cup Natural Peanut Butter( you want to make sure to stay away from xylitol)
- 1 Large Cookie Sheet
- 1 Large Ziploc Bag
- Blender
- Piping Bag and Tips
Directions:
- Blend yogurt and peanut butter until smooth.
- Place into Ziploc bag and cut off the end of a corner to make it a piping bag.
- Pipe out circles of desired size and place on cookie sheet.
- Freeze for at least an hour and then remove from cookie sheet.
- Store In the freezer.
- You could also do plain yogurt and remove peanut butter or even add a banana.
Per Petmd,”Plain, low or non-fat yogurt provides probiotic benefits and serves as an excellent source of calcium for our canine companions.” Again, as with the Peanut butter you want to avoid extra sugar and stay away from xylitol which is an artificial sweetener that is toxic to dogs.
