If you've seen any of my other blogs, you know I love pancakes! I'm always looking for fun ways to add some flair to this family favorite. Summertime brings the best produce coming into season and my kiddos can't get enough blueberries! The best part of this recipe is that it is a very easy spin on a classic! You also can make this throughout the year, if you are able to get some frozen blueberries. So, head to your favorite patch or your favorite store and grab some blueberries, and let's add some flair to your next family breakfast!
Ingredients:
- Your Favorite Pancake Batter
- Pint of Fresh Blueberries
- 1 tsp of Lemon Extract
Directions:
- Make your favorite pancake batter or use my favorite recipe!
- Add 1 tsp of Lemon Extract, adjust to your tastes.
- Heat skillet/pan over medium heat in a skillet.
- Add batter to your favorite pancake dispenser.
- Optional step, but this makes pancake dispensing a breeze!
- Add in blueberries (fresh or frozen)!
- Cook pancakes.
- Add powdered sugar.
- Garnish with blueberries.
- Serve & Enjoy!
