Hi there, it’s me - your favorite feline Luna. And let me just say, October might just be my favorite month. The air is crisp, the leaves are crunchy, and suddenly the humans think dressing me up like a tiny vampire is funny. (For the record, I let them… as long as they pay me in Friskies Party Mix.)
October is basically one big treat party, and let’s be real….I’m here for the treats. Every rustle of a candy wrapper makes me think it’s my turn for a crunchy bite of goodness. Luckily, my human knows better than to leave me hanging. Out comes the Party Mix, and suddenly I forget all about the pumpkin hat they plopped on my head.
Some of my favorite spooky-season moments include:
- Pumpkin Patrol: I supervise the humans while they carve pumpkins. They think they’re artists, but I’m just here waiting for the Party Mix reward I obviously deserve for moral support.
- Costume Time: Witch hat? Bat wings? Tiny ghost cape? I’ll tolerate it for exactly 3 minutes…long enough for photos and a handful of treats.
- Movie Nights: The humans snuggle up with scary movies. I curl into a blanket, purr like a little monster, and crunch my Party Mix while they crunch popcorn.
Halloween may be all about candy for the humans, but for me, it’s a whole month of Friskies Party Mix. So go ahead, dress me up, light the candles, and put on the spooky music. Just remember: no tricks, only treats… specifically Party Mix, please.
